Beat Cop or a blast from the past!

As befits a decent girl, I’ll first introduce myself, my name is Tatka, I’ve been at Stopgame since 2011 (the first registration was then), but I haven’t tried myself in blogs for a long time. In honor of my old, 10-year stay in the tube atmosphere of the world of computer games and quality content, we present to your attention the first look at an indie project that my hands, slow-witted, got to only in 2021, due to a discount on Steam .

This is not some ordinary indie game, but the realities of life of a simple detective in the 80s in America (read in the style of screensavers for TV series of the 80s). The plot is simple, but the developer studio, Pixel Crow, did not position the game as a complex indie project with deep meaning. This is essentially a pleasant pastime in front of the screen in the cozy atmosphere of TV series from the past.

So, before us is an https://mindepositcasino.co.uk/casino-minimum-deposit-1/ indie, where we, in the shoes of a former detective, Jack Kelly, who was accused of murder, and then demoted to the status of a patrolman. Meet the Hero takes us into the thick of police work in the 69th Precinct of the NYPD. The gameplay is a symbiosis of a quest and a simulator of the work of a police officer (before all your Police Simulator: Patrol Officers). We have to issue parking tickets, talk with NPCs, arrest violators of public order, go to crime scenes, and also carry out orders from the boss.

The game has sarcastic humor, thanks to which routine work does not get boring, but only makes you want to immerse yourself more and more in the world of the hero, who is trying to get to the bottom of the truth while establishing relationships or, on the contrary, spoiling them (which is not desirable) with the various factions that are represented in the game (there are only three of them: Police, Mafia, Gang).

As we progress, we are drawn into the unusual gameplay, literally smearing ourselves with the atmosphere of the 80s. The review briefly describes this wonderful game, since there are already more complete reviews on the site and these are first impressions (it turned out crumpled, I will correct it in the future), I have not completed the game yet, so now I express the general opinion that the project evokes extremely positive emotions and deserves the attention of all fans of indie games.

My personal recommendation is to go through it exclusively in English, since only with such a passage will the whole meaning that the developers intended when creating the dialogues be preserved.

P.WITH.: I’m breaking into blogs with a cozy and atmospheric game, I hope for understanding and approval. Warmth to everyone!
