There has been a bit of a lull in the tactical strategy genre lately. Since Relic released the magnificent Dawn of War 2, nothing really worthy has come out. Great review. Great game. Bought this morning. Completed the very first mission. I liked it. On the second (where it is necessary to capture the commander, in the village), he stood up. Been there 5 times. Either I get burned, or everyone in the village is killed. My best result, capturing 2 armored personnel carriers, after which they carefully carried me out. The toy is really complicated, you have to think. Although I prefer rabid, mindless meat, ala Command & Conquer and World in Conflict, this game hooked me. Very interesting. I’ve watched all the VTVs, but I won’t play this game, it doesn’t hold up: "almost the best game of the genre in the entire 2009" is not even close! They just took the engine and riveted another three missions, it’s better to install VTV 2 and play it online in a joint playthrough than to run to the store and take it. How can the author compare DoW 2 and ETS ?! 2 different engines, two completely different games, fucking compared NFS and it.
